This is the first dentist I have ever felt comfortable with. Very professional and knowledgeable. Fixed every problem I went for and didn’t try to sell me anything extra or do any unnecessary work. Also the price is extremely fair. I never thought I would find a dentist I like. I am beyond happy and very thankful!

Awesome experience from start to finish. As a Canadian in Spain I was not sure what to expect when I had a filling break while here on snowbird vacation. His whole team was a joy to work with, and for a reasonable price.

Highly recommend, great to be able to speak in English especially with a dentist. Great team and doctor. Was there a couple of times already, even helped me out in a emergency situation where I had to get a tooth removed.

All the staff are great
I went to see Alex 5 weeks ago regarding lack of top front teeth
He gave me two options
I took the second one and went for the 6 tooth bridge
I’m scared of the dentist but day 1 didn’t feel injections took 4 teeth out
2 visit again all good
Went we’d 1 st March and was fitted with temporary teeth back next week final fitting all very professional
Fully reccomend the practice

After a short communication over WhatsApp I was offered a same day emergency appointment with the English Dental Practice. The practice is easy to find location with plenty of parking.

The experience from start to finish was superb, the team are very professional and my issue was dealt with quickly.
The dentist is very friendly and explained clearly what the problem was.

I would highly recommend for anyone who requires an English speaking dentist whilst in the area.

I have used this dental practice for several years. Since a frightening childhood experience, I had a huge fear of dentists. Alex and his team, all of which have worked together for a long time, are brilliant. He is an honest and caring dentist and not one who is doing ‘work’ for the sake of it. I have a grinding teeth problem and he suggested a tooth peg at night to prevent further damage. I am very pleased to have found this practice like many others.

Best dentist on the coast !
I’ve been going here for many years and after bad experiences with a few dentists on the coast it was a a huge relief to find someone honest , I have absolutely 100%faith in what he tells me and I know when I have treatment it is because it’s required , and achievable! Unlike some on this coast !

I went in yesterday with what I thought was an infection in my gum or an abscess. Dr Alex on examination said I was clenching my jaw which was causing the extreme pain in my upper teeth. I was surprised and not convinced. He gave me a prescription for done muscle relaxants and 2 days later the intense pain has gone!!
They were all very friendly and super professional!! Thank you 🙏Alison

Having not been to a dentist for 5 years and having an horrendous quotation of work required from UK dentist, I'd seen the great reviews of the English Dentist in Fenguirola. We have a place in benalmadena so come to spain often so whilst nervous I gave this dentist a try. I've been delighted with the care and advice given and my treatment received. The most horrific dental experience of my life - left with a life long fear.
I chose The English Dental Practice because of the good reviews here, but I was absolutely shocked by the treatment I received. This is my first google review ever, but I feel I must warn people about this place.

I was told I grind my teeth (that's fair of course) and that there is nothing that can be done about it and they cannot be fixed in the future either. Dr. Alex kept telling me how severe it was and how it will soon be visible, yet nothing could be done. After a good 15 minutes of essentially telling me I will end up with horrid teeth very soon with nothing to ever be done about this, I informed him I have a bit of anxiety and kindly asked him to stop going on about how horrible my teeth will soon become if nothing can be done anyway, except to live in permanent fear. He kept going though and showed me horrific examples, and again I asked that there must be some preventative measure - his response: "eat more pizza" but that no matter what it cannot be fixed/prevented and even when they have become visibly damaged and ugly, they still will never be able to be fixed.

I had to change the subject as I was on the verge of tears, and asked about teeth whitening. My teeth are not horribly yellow but they could use a few shades whiter. He said he was glad I brought it up, to which his assistant, unprompted butted in with her 2 cents, that she thought my teeth were VERY yellow. To this Dr Alex said they were not THAT yellow, it's only because I am so pale (which I'm not but thank you for also insulting my complexing now). Now of course I would never leave a one star review simply from being insulted from a rude assistant but after for 20 minutes of fear mongering, this was just an extra blow.

I have contacted them to let them know how horrible the treatment I received was and how it left me completely devastated (a future of unfixable ugly teeth is not anything anyone wants - especially not when you are only late 20's), and I gave them a chance to reply, however, I only received a short "sorry you feel that way" response. I feel I must warn others of the cold, harsh, fear mongering treatment that is to be found at The English Dental Practice. Also paid 25 euros for zero treatment - just to let others know.

I am beyond shocked that this practice can operate with how they treat their clients, and have a feeling they must be deleting reviews.

I booked a Hygienist appointment but had to change it due to a bereavement. Alison was very understanding and made a new appointment for me. Susanna the hygienist was excellent. She did a v good job of removing the plaque. My previous hygienist appointment was about 6 months earlier with a different dentist in Riviera Del Sol. Susanna pointed out that some of the plaque was more than 6 months old which suggests that the previous dentist had not cleaned properly. Thank you Susanna. Next appointment booked for September 2018.

Great dentist. I have always been a little scared of getting my teeth checked and cleaned, but Susana did a great job and put me at ease completely. And I have to say, she did an amazing job! It did not hurt as much as I imagined, in fact hardly any pain at all! I am so glad I found these guys, I will be back every 6 months now :)
