I attended this clinic for a painful wisdom tooth infection while pregnant, seeking medical treatment. Instead of receiving appropriate care, I was given a lecture about what I “should have done” before pregnancy, my age, and other judgemental comments.

I left without treatment or pregnancy-safe antibiotics because he did not feel the infection was severe enough yet. After a couple of hours, the pain worsened significantly and I ultimately had to attend the hospital, where doctors were shocked that the infection had not been treated earlier, explaining that infections do not resolve on their own and it is safer to treat promptly to avoid fever and complications during pregnancy.

I will not be returning and feel it is important to share this experience with others so they can can make informed decisions.

I’ve had an excellent experience with Dr. Chaabane in Madrid! Early October 2025 my friend and I travelled from Scotland to Madrid en route a walking holiday in Spain (Camino de Santiago). We arrived in Madrid on a Sunday and went for something to eat when I broke a tooth eating an olive. The pain was excruciating and I knew if I did not manage to get to a dentist, there would be no walking for me!

Fortunately, on browsing the web for a dentist, my friend found Dr Knobel's Dental Clinic which was English speaking, and so we phoned first thing on the Monday morning and were delighted when Dr Knobel agreed to see me as an emergency. Long story short, I underwent root canal treatment and had a crown fitted to the affected tooth, and all within around two hours!

I have to say that I am a very nervous patient when it comes to visiting the dentist, however, both Dr Knobel and his team showed me kindness, understanding and patience during what was a traumatic experience for me. I cannot thank the whole team enough!

I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Knobel's Dental Clinic without hesitation. I should say my friend and I went on to complete our walk - pain free!

Had great experience at Clinica Dental Dr. Knobel! The front desk staff was very friendly, spoke English and made checking in a breeze. I was seen by Dr. Knobel for a unscheduled chipped tooth repair. I chipped my tooth at night and I greatly appreciated them squeezing me in without a scheduled appointment the next day when I emailed them the next morning.
He did an excellent job fixing my chipped tooth and explaining the process, making sure I was comfortable. He explained what path I should consider when I return back to my regular dentist and found that helpful. Dr. Knobel spoke perfect English, German and good Spanish. The office itself was a short walk from the Metro stop, clean, comfortable and I appreciated the guest WiFi. Cost of repair $160.00 EUR
I would highly recommend Clinica Dental Dr. Knobel to anyone looking for a dentist in Madrid. Gracias Team Knobel.

Fui a hacerme una revisión debido a que semanas antes me había hecho una limpieza dental con el seguro, pero no quedé complemente satisfecho debido a que me dolía un poco, así que decidí probar otra clinica dental y debo decir que fue un completo acierto. No solo hay profesionalidad en el trabajo, sino también desde que entras y te reciben.
Todo el proceso con el doctor Chaabane fue impecable y se nota mucho su experiencia y competitividad.
Estoy más que seguro que volveré!

Bei mir wurden drei Inlays gemacht – mit einem super Ergebnis und bestem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Da ich in der Vergangenheit nur schlechte Erfahrungen mit Anästhesie hatte war ich sehr ängstlich. Leider versagt bei mir häufig die Anästhesie. Das wurde in den Praxen zuvor oft belächelt und nicht wirklich berücksichtigt.
Dr. Knobel hat mich von Anfang an ernst genommen und sich viel Zeit genommen. Er hat sich sehr bemüht und die Zähne richtig betäuben können. Die Behandlung war schmerzfrei – ich habe mich bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Praxis ist sehr modern und das ganze Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alle sprechen hervorragendes englisch! ich gehe wieder angstfrei zum Zahnarzt und ich bin sehr dankbar Dr.Knobel hier in Madrid gefunden zu haben.

Dr. Zied Chaabane and the whole team here are fantastic. We were traveling in Madrid from Australia and I had an emergency dental issue. The team fit me in straight away and they were very helpful and accommodating. They were happy to speak to me in English which I was very appreciative of and the Dentist's and staff's english was very good. I was very pleased with the results of the dental work too, he did a great job and wrote a detailed report for my travel insurance claim. Highly recommend this clinic.

A friend recommended this clinic when I had expressed my dissatisfaction with multiple dentists in Madrid. It's little far from where I live, but it was worth it for me to have my first thorough cleaning in Spain. They did an amazing job and everyone was very nice. The best part was that they had the paperwork available in multiple languages and they conducted my entire appointment in English!

Me recomendaron la Clínica Dental Dr. Knobel y la verdad es que ha sido un acierto. Es un sitio muy agradable, nunca lo hubiera pensado de un dentista. Mi primera consulta fue una limpieza, que había realizado en otros sitios, y nada que ver. Se toman su tiempo y el resultado diferencial. Erika es una pasada, ir al dentista se ha convertido en un momento agradable, qué más añadir.
Después tuve que realizar una endodoncia y conocí al Dr. Alexander que es una maravilla de profesional, muy meticuloso (3 hrs en dos sesiones con más de 280 pasos por sesión) con Erika de ayudante que lo convierte en una experiencia agradable. Prefiero no tener que visitarles por razones obvias pero estoy segura que la limpieza dental ya no me dará pereza y estaré deseando volver al menos dos veces al año ;)

Qué puedo decir.
Comencé con ellos con gran fobia al dentista, hoy por hoy mi relajación es máxima cuando cruzó su puerta y esto se debe al gran equipo profesional, atento y con muchísima paciencia.
